Global Sourcing & Procurement
Most integrators buy through layers of distributors. Each layer adds margin, adds a hand-off and adds time. We work directly with the manufacturers — which changes both the price and the schedule.
Scope
Small components through to major assets.
One order can cover a pallet of line hardware and a 400 kV transformer. The commercial route is the same.
- Power transformers — to 500 MVA, 400 kV class, including generator step-up and auto-transformers
- Distribution transformers — pad-mount, pole-mount and submersible, 10 kVA to 12,500 kVA
- Switchgear — GIS and AIS, medium-voltage switchgear, ring main units, MCCs
- Circuit breakers — vacuum, SF6 and air, with reclosers and sectionalisers
- Protection & control — digital relays, RTUs, panels, metering, CTs and PTs
- Reactors & compensation — shunt and series reactors, capacitor banks, voltage regulators
- Cable & accessories — MV/LV cable, terminations, splices, connectors and line hardware
- Generation equipment — turbines, generators, BESS packages and inverter-duty transformers
- Station equipment — surge arresters, earthing systems, insulators, structures and fittings
- Packaged solutions — e-houses, skid-mounted and modular substations
The advantage
Global manufacturer pricing with local accountability.
| Advantage | What it means for the buyer |
|---|---|
| Factory-direct pricing | Fewer intermediaries between the plant and the project, so a lower landed cost on everything from relays and cable to power transformers and GIS. |
| Volume aggregation | Demand pooled across projects and clients, giving buying power that a single order could not achieve on its own. |
| Production slot access | Long-standing manufacturer relationships help secure manufacturing slots at exactly the point when published lead times are at their worst. |
| Multi-region sourcing | Asia, Europe and the Americas benchmarked on every package. No dependence on one country, one currency or one OEM. |
| Total landed cost | Price, freight, duty, tariff exposure, warranty terms and delivery date compared together — because the cheapest ex-works number is frequently not the cheapest package. |
| Quality assurance | Supplier audits, witnessed factory acceptance tests and third-party inspection before anything leaves the plant. |
| Compliance handling | Buy America and domestic-content assessment, UL/ANSI/IEEE conformity, and utility approved-vendor-list requirements addressed up front. |
| One source, both ends | Fasteners, relays and metering through to substation transformers, breakers and generators — on one purchase order. |
Commercial models
How the procurement relationship is structured.
A
Project purchase
A defined equipment package for a single project, priced on total landed cost with a committed delivery window and inspection plan.
B
Framework agreement
Agreed pricing and lead times across a category for a fixed term, called off against releases as projects are sanctioned.
C
Vendor-managed inventory
We hold agreed stock levels of critical items against your forecast, with consignment terms so you pay on draw-down rather than on delivery.

Distribution Solutions
Distribution is the largest and most continuous line in a utility capital plan. We cover it end to end — stock, design, build and storm response.

Refurbishment & Life Extension
Most aging transformers and switchgear are structurally sound. Restoring and retrofitting them defers capital and beats new-build lead times.

Engineering Services
Conceptual through detailed design for substations and lines, with licensed US Professional Engineers signing off the deliverables.
